full hearts & blessed lives

There has never been a better time to call Santa Barbara home.

The strength of our community has been demonstrated over and over again.

I am proud to be a part of this strength.

FLOWER EMPOWER has been a weekly commitment of time to bring flowers to those who are hurting, emotionally or physically. You can nominate someone to receive a beautiful bouquet accompanied by a handmade card from a local child. They will even throw in a cookie!

SANTA BARBARA BUCKET BRIGADE has grown from a few neighbors helping neighbors to a major movement of support. Part of the early projects were literally moving dirt. Digging homes out from tons of debris and mud and helping find lost treasures. It continues to expand and has now begun to restore some of the many public spaces that were lost or damaged during the debris flow. The road to recovery is going to be a long one.

Heal the Ocean is near and dear to our hearts. Anyone who enjoys our beautiful beaches knows that it is because of constant vigilance and care that they remain a treasure of our town.

WESTMONT RIDLEY-TREE MUSEUM of ART champions many local artists throughout the year as well as nationally regarded and respected artists. They continue to be a voice of unity and inclusion. Welcoming all.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel School sits in the heart of Montecito and draws students from far and wide. Their outstanding teachers educate many children who have gone on to be very successful adults who are making a stronger and more compassionate community.

The Charitable Foundation is a foundation that gives throughout the year to many local charities. We give a financial contribution with every closed escrow. Most of our colleagues at BHHS join us in that pledge.

I support, both physically and financially, and I receive great joy in return.
